 Vectron International, a leader in the design and manufacture of Precision Oscillators and Timing Solutions for Communication, Industrial, Military & Space applications, announced its new VX–805 5.0mm x 3.2mm package VCXO. The VX–805 has phase noise performance specifically optimized for wireless base station applications. This product was showcased in Booth 1305 at the IMS 2014 Symposium in Tampa (Florida, US) in June 3–5th, 2014.

The VX–805's phase noise is optimized for wireless base stations. Base station architectures are getting smaller and as they do, board densities are increasing. As a result the phase noise performance of the transceiver VCXO is critical for these applications.
