United Monolithic Semiconductors (UMS) announced the release of new voltage controlled oscillators - CHV1203-98F и CHV1206-98F. Oscillators are designed in the form of GaAs monolithic microwave IC. They have very low levels of phase noise. The new models are available in the form of chips.

Main features of CHV1203-98F and CHV1206-98F, respectively:

• frequency range: 2.6…3.0 and 5.35…6.1 GHz
• output power: 8 and 8.5 dBm
• phase noise: at 2.7 GHz -86 dBc/Hz (10 кHz), -108 dBc/Hz (100 кHz) and at 6 GHz -78 dBc/Hz (10 кHz), -100 dBc/Hz (100 кHz)
• output return loss: 12 dB
• frequency drift rate: 0.3 and 0.9 МHz/ºС
• pushing vs Vc: 14 and 13 МHz/V
• supply voltage Vc: 3 V
• operating temperature range: -55…125 ºС
• chip size: 2.77 × 2.77 mm

New oscillators from UMS are designed for a wide range of applications, from space to commercial communications systems.
